What is more beautiful than the snow white of the traditional wedding? It’s the elegance of wedding ivory white. Beautiful ivory satin shoes, wedding ivory dress and veil have an old-fashioned appeal and elegance that the sophistication of the traditional white does not have. If you can find it in traditional white, then the wedding ivory is just as easily found.
Wedding ivory can play a role not just in the bride’s look, but also in the wedding accessories, such as wedding guest book and feathered pen. Don’t overdo with too many wedding frills and decorations. In other words, less is more.

Wedding ivory seems to work better when the bride wears a romantic wedding ivory veil. A veil is part of the softness of the overall look of the old-fashioned bride wearing her wedding ivory, maybe as once her own grandmother had done.
Complement wedding ivory with colors such as red, blue, or green. Bridesmaids could wear a shade of wedding ivory different from that of the bride’s. While bridesmaids’ dresses should be similar to the bride’s, it is important that the bride’s attire be the focal point of the wedding.
Wedding guests are certainly not bound by the wedding ivory theme, but if a couple loves the wedding ivory look, then why not buy something in that shade. Crisp linens and fluffy towels in an elegant shade of wedding ivory make a nice gift.
Wedding guests can also take another route—a beautiful contrast to wedding ivory. However, guests should not be bound by a wedding theme, but what the wedding couple may need or may have specifically requested.
