		<description>You don&#039;t need both.  I skipped a bassinet the second time around and my daughter has been in the crib since day 1 home from the hospital.  A bassinet is much smaller and can be easily moved from room to room or can fit next to a bed.  But you can only use it for a few months.  A crib you can use for years.</description>
